Getting closer to the radio session

The day started once more with an energizer and an activity. In this case, the activity consisted in mentioning something that the participants considered that makes them unique. With this activity the participants learned to value their uniqueness and to realise that they are not weird, as everyone is different in an own way. After this activity, we dedicated the whole day to the radio session the participants will be undertaking on the 8th of December; from the morning until the evening.

Everything must be well organised and specified, there is no margin for error in the radio: no blank spaces, no improvisation, but yet everything has to sound natural. This goal can be difficult to achieve, but for sure it will help the participants in this project, since the radio is a fantastic way of public speaking with a big social impact. In order to get the speech prepared, the participants suggested four topics to talk about, all of them current topics that affect young people.

The radio session will address the problem for young people to get a job and the lack of support they receive, the Erasmus + project, curiosities and misconceptions of the countries participating [Spain, Romania, Portugal and Italy] and alternative education. Each topic will be discussed by five or six people following different structures, with songs from different countries in between.

The participants wanted to have such a good result with this project that they even finalised their speeches in their free time. However, there has also been time for fun, as after the dinner the participants sang their hearts out in the karaoke; it didn’t matter whether the song was in Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, Romanian or English. All in all, let’s see if all the participants’ efforts are enough to make out of the radio session an extraordinary program and experience!
