A day in the Coast of the Gods

8th of December was the most expected day of the project, the free day.

It started like the other days, with everyone being late for breakfast without any punishment since the previous night was Portugal and Italia presentation, so, a lot of Sangria.

The trip started by everyone going to a parking to meet our special transportation, the magic bus.

It started by someone throwing up because of the amazing Italian roads without any holes and cracks, and after 1h30, the amazing international people from the Youth Turn project arrived at the first stop, Tropea.

The first view made everyone surrender to the beauty of the city, the blue color of the ocean mix with the Stromboli volcano made the landscape win the heart of everyone.

After a small walk in the city, a nice place to eat a very special pizza was found, which they never saw in their lives, with slices of potato on top.

When everyone had eaten their lunch and drunk their coffee, another walk down Tropea city into the beach was made to see the ocean, and I can just say, that everyone were impressed.

A few selfies taken and rocks thrown to the amazing warm ocean and they all gathered again in the magic bus to go to the second destination, Pizzo.

Another crazy 50min in amazing roads on the magic bus was what took to arrive Pizzo. After going down in the amazing streets of Pizzo they found their lost child, Giulia.

Pizzo had an absolutely amazing view to the Mediterranean Sea, which attracts a lot of tourist during the summer.

They finished the night in a memorable way, enjoying and learning in the same time about different cultures. They danced traditional dances from Spain and Romania since it was their special night. The food was very tasty and it was waiting for them to try different flavors and drinks.

Even though the internet and the speaker didn’t work, Romania managed to present their country. After a few laughs everyone helped cleaning and they moved the party to the same “party place”, the hotel.
People were a little crazy, like always, because of the traditional drinking games that both countries have, but in the end, after all energies were gone, they all went to bed but no one knows which one.
